To file a copyright infringement notification with VidMoly, you will need to send a written notification that includes substantially the information required by and stated in Section 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

How to Write a Proper DMCA Notice

Please state the following information clearly in your request:

• 1. Identify Yourself Identify yourself as an owner of copyrighted work or exclusive rights that you believe were infringed, or a person acting on behalf of such owner. Provide a physical or electronic signature.
• 2. Describe the Work Specify the copyrighted work that you believe is being infringed, or if a large number of works are being infringed, provide a representative list of the works.
• 3. Identify the Location (URLs) Identify the location of materials that are infringing your copyrighted work by providing specific web URLs on vidmoly.me.
  (Please do not send attached images or PDFs. Providing URLs directly in the email body is the fastest way to process your request.)
• 4. Contact Information State your contact information, including your name, street address, phone number, and email address. If acting on behalf of an owner, describe your affiliation (e.g., attorney, vendor, agent).
• 5. Good Faith Belief Include the statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the aforementioned material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or the law."
• 6. Accuracy Statement Include the statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the (copyright) owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

Please write in English. Emails in other languages may be ignored.

If VidMoly receives proper notification of claimed copyright infringement, it will respond expeditiously by removing, or disabling access to, the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. Please note that VidMoly will not necessarily send a confirmation about the takedown actions to the reporter.
